The inspiration for this model is an animal paw and a pair of blades. That last one isn’t obvious. Having “blades” on the sides just felt a bit out of place. I wanted a serene design, and I felt that anything pointy would have disrupted the peaceful balance of the overall shape. If only you could all see the thumbnails! Eventually the design process guided me to what you see now. Keep in mind this piece is to accompany my D&D Character, which is a ranger. I chose that animal paw motif to communicate that part of my character.
For the above quote, this refers to a moment when my character received this very necklace from a friend, and her name was Susanna. She gave this to Tasberdale during her last moments proceeding an act of betrayal. Now Tasberdale walks the earth as a chaotic-good hunter, honing his skills so that he may avenge Susanna. He also helps other people with their troubles along the way.
